Earth Fare to return to Turkey Creek

Get ready Turkey Creek Shoppers!  You’ve been hearing about it, and now the return of Earth Fare is almost here!  The organic and natural grocery chain closed last February due to bankruptcy, but new owners are bringing it back. The Parkside Drive location is one of two Tennessee Earth Fare locations reopening in 2021.  The tentative date for you to be back shopping the aisles of the Earth Fare in Turkey Creek, located at 10903 Parkside Drive, is Wednesday, February 10th.

Earth Fare says the new store will retain some of the most popular elements of the former chain. This includes healthy foods made by a “healthy lifestyle chef,” natural meats and products that adhere to a strict list of natural ingredients. The focus is on crafting an inviting atmosphere that also clearly distinguishes the store as a health destination.

“We don’t want to look or feel like a big-box warehouse retailer, but more an extension of your home,” Randy Talley said in a statement.  Talley is the original founder of Earth Fare and now the company’s chief sustainability officer.

Hulsing Enterprises and its president and CEO, Dennis Hulsing, an Asheville businessman, invested in the company. Talley and Mike Cianciarulo, a former president of Earth Fare, are helping relaunch the brand.

Other Earth Fare stores that have reopened or are reopening are in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

There are other new additions coming this Spring in Turkey Creek.  Cookout is set to open at 11113 Parkside Drive.  Wings, etc. is currently renovating the former Hurricane Wings/Bourbon Bird location on Lovell Road.  Also new to Turkey Creek in recent months are Dos Agaves Mexican Grill, Merc 865, and Buff City Soap.
